Precision Cutter & Tool, Lebanon, Missouri, celebrated its 25th anniversary on September 5th.
The event included a luncheon, presentations and tours of the facility. Hartwig and Okuma helped with the event. The presentations included several local and state officials and representatives from Hartwig and Okuma.
A constant theme throughout the comments and presentations was the value of teamwork to Precision Cutter & Tool. “My employees are the key to this business. I must recognize every one of them because they are what makes this company run, and run smoothly. They are Precision Cutter & Tool,” stated Rob Baker, founder/owner and 45-year industry veteran.
The company offers CNC machining (including hard milling and high-speed machining), builds and repairs progressive tooling, builds special machines and wire EDM work. Heat treating and stamping are also offered.
Founded in 1987 by Baker in a 16’ x 16’ building, the company now has facilities with 35,000-sq.-ft. and 35 employees. The company serves a wide range of industries across the country and is ISO and AS9100B certified.
As he reflected on the company’s history, Baker noted, “Our good employees and the good Lord watching over us…that’s what has made our company successful.”
