In the third installment of our ten-part series on What’s New in Mastercam 2024, we discuss the enhancements to Solid Holes.
Solid Holes now include top and bottom edge treatments built-in to the holemaking operation, more easily reversable hole vectors, and the ability to explode groups of holes into individual operations for more powerful editing and better control over the solid holes you’re using. This empowers programmers to better manipulate the model and gives the user CAD-like functionality inside the Mastercam Solids Manager.
